SMBC Indonesia Partners with SUN Energy to Provide USD10-Million Strategic Financing Facility to Support Acceleration of Indonesia's Energy Transition

Jakarta, December 23, 2024 – In efforts to continue to increase the penetration of solar energy utilization in Indonesia, PT Surya Utama Nuansa (SUN Energy)—one of the largest solar energy project development companies in Indonesia—has succeeded in establishing a strategic partnership with PT Bank SMBC Indonesia Tbk (SMBC Indonesia). This partnership materializes in a Multi-Option Trade Facility worth USD 10 million to support the operational needs and expansion of solar energy projects in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector.
