Sustainable Living
SMBC Indonesia believes that a promising future is not solely determined by economic factors but also by the habits of leading a healthy lifestyle, creating a healthy environment, and preserving the planet as early as possible.
Therefore, SMBC Indonesia has established a sustainable living program for employees, customers, partners, and the community with the aim of raising awareness and fostering healthy lifestyle habits for individuals and their surroundings while also contributing to the preservation of the Earth.
This program is regularly conducted in both online and offline formats, both before the COVID-19 pandemic, during the pandemic, and post-pandemic. For example, it includes seminars/training on healthy eating patterns and degenerative diseases, group exercise sessions with customers, health check-ups for customers covering parameters like blood sugar, cholesterol, bone density, and BMI, as well as "Walking and Cycling for the Earth" programs that encourage walking and cycling to work and tree planting initiatives in specific areas.
By 2023 the Life Sustainability seminar/training program had been attended by 45,362 participants, online learning through infographics had been accessed by 12,557 people, while through social media 362,972 visitors.
